i have one from before slap chop came out... its pampered chef and I freakin love it....we use it for gaucamole to chop the onion, garlic, and jalpeno

I have one...it works...my only complaint is it doesnt chop hard boiled egg lol i know that sounds stupid but it would help me out when i make egg salad or cobb salad...otherwise i think its not a bad thing to have around

lol i should have elaborated....it doesnt really cut down on it...just slices it and flattens it but doesnt chop it up. sorry hard to explain lol

I have it, but I never use it...and I think FH may have thrown it out the other day when he was cleaning. The mini-food prep/processor works just as well, if not better on nuts, carrots, onions, etc. Just be careful not to over spin the blades. Then it comes out too fine.

I have one that's like the slap chop, but doesn't 'butterfly' open like it. It works great. I always use it for onions.
