Sleepless in NY (Long)

Sleepless in NY (Long)

So.. the wedding is 3 days from now, and here I sit at 5:30 in the morning typing this message... Its been approximately a week and a half since the last time I have slept for more then 4 hours a night!! Is anyone else going through this? I'm not having nightmares, but I just can't SLEEP - I have too many details running around in my head and once my eyes open that's it! Unfortunatley, I am completely EXHAUSTED!!

Off the subject, I am now FREAKING out about our ceremony. Last night was the rehearsal and my church completely forgot that there was a missionary group scheduled to use the church at the same time we were supposed to have the rehearsal!! Thank goodness, some of us got there EARLY, because they RUSHED us through the ceremony so fast my head was spinning!!! There were people in my bridal party who missed the entire rehearsal because they were either on time or tied up by slight traffic delays (one of them being our best man). I thought the whole thing was quite unfair, especially since so many of our friends had to leave work early and try to rush to be there!
So now, on top of me worrying about 'my less then graceful self' falling down in my beautiful bridal gown on the way to the alter (that aisle is LONG and SO darn slippery even with the runner!) I am ALSO worried that no one in the bridal party will know where the heck they have to be and the whole ceremony is going to be a big 'ole mess!!

I will say one nice thing though -- he looked SO CUTE when he was pretending to put the ring on my finger tonight --

Those are all the simple bumps in the road. Just remember that you will be marrying your honey and everything will turn out fine!!!

Its not rocket-science, everyone in your bridal party will know what to do & it will be perfect! If I were you I'd be taking some Tylenol PM & heading to bed -- you don't want to make yourself sick!

Oh, sweetie try to relax. I know, easier said than done. But don't worry your day will be wonderful. I had a hard time sleeping just before our wedding but what helped a bit was I used to leave a pen and pad on my night stand so that when things went running through my head at night I would just write them down so I could deal with them in the morning.
As for your bridal party not knowing what to do, don't let it stress you. You officiant will help them out and if they are standing in the wrong place it won't be the end of the world. You can't let all the little things like that get to you.

Drink some tea and try to get some sleep so you can enjoy your day.

I have 4 weeks and 3 days left and I am not sleeping at all, can you imagine when it is closer than that?? I completely understand about the not sleeping part.
