What level of fullness slip/crinoline did you wear?
My dress is pretty heavy satin, so I'm expecting it to flatten the slip a little bit.
I'm considering #1 and #2 in this photo - the 2 leftmost photos.
Which would you go with?

I have a Maggie dress and am wearing a very full slip because the dress is so heavy, but it does not have hoops.

Same here. I asked the seamstress for a full crinolin slip. It doesn't have hoops, but it's pretty full. Pics of me at my first fitting (with the slip on) are in my album.
I'd probably go with #2 in your selections above. #1 is hardly any 'poof' at all. If you want your dress flatter, though, go with #2.
