slipper basket

I am planning on doing this for my wedding (someday, lol). I read about it on this site. I would suggest going to either the Attius Flea Market (you can probably get them for a dollar each and you can haggle with them) or the Aqueduct Race Track Flea Market depending on where you live. There are some websites ( you will see them if you do a search on slipper baskets). I would def. try the flea markets though.

I got mine at www.mysisterusa.com. I got 100 for 215 guests. I think I paid about 80 cents a pair, also I remember reading somewhere on here that if you called them they would work out a price...also they ship sooo fast, I got them like a day later!

a lot of the girls, me included, have gone with mysisterusa.com.

they're local, have a great price, are familiar with the wedding purchases, have great customer service, and great prices (only $1 each). they also deliver over night for regular shipping price.

I also got mine from the same site. They where all $.50 each. I got 2 cases for only $100.00. It was cheaper to order 2 cases then to buy individual ones.

a slipper basket is:

a basket of chinese slippers provided to your female guests. this way they can keep dancing even after their shoes are no longer comfortable. this way they aren't dancing in bare feet or not dancing.

a lot of girls do this as a thoughtful gesture for their guests. most of us put each pair in an organza bag and then put all the slippers in a basket in the ladies room with a sign letting them know what they are and what they are for.

i had 80 guests, bought 50 slippers and only had 3 left over. GUESTS LOVE THEM!!! mine are still talking about them
