Re: slipper basket?

I think I ended up getting 60 pairs of slippers. My guest list ended up growing a bit after I bought them so I probably should have bought more, but overall the slipper basket was a huge hit. I bought them from a warehouse website in bulk for about $104 total. I wouldn't necessary recommend them because they left out a pair of slippers and when I called them they were very nasty!

ETA: I got chinese slippers.

Re: slipper basket?

I scored a great deal with Old Navy flip flops. Bought all the white and black colors in different sizes. I just need to buy a large basket to fit them all. I don't think you need to buy enough for everyone, but would think 30 - 40% of the ladies at least. Some won't need / want them.

Re: slipper basket?

I bought my actual baskets from The Christmas Tree Shoppe and I bought the chinese slippers in bulk from an online wholesaler.

Re: slipper basket?

My BM dresses were black so I ordered all the slippers in black. I used large organza bags, which I think were really meant for wine, but they worked perfectly. I got them from a family friend who did my flowers, she got them from her florist warehouse, but I'm sure you can find them online.

I ordered the slippers from here:
http://www.intertradecorp.com/store.cfm?Event=ItemDetail&ItemID=316226&ReturnTo=http%3A%2F%2Fwww%2Eintertradecorp%2Ecom%2Fstore%2Ecfm
I got them really quick, but like I said in the previous post, they left out a pair and then when I called were not helpful at all! Really not a huge deal, but still.
