slipper basket - question

i am doing the slipper basket and saw that most brides suggested mysisterusa.com for the slippers. but is there a way to order certain color slippers as opposed to just a random assortment of colors? thanks!

I am going to do this for my wedding (someday) and I was thinking of either going to the Attias Flea Market or the Aqueduct Race Track. Both of these places have a variety of cheap flip flops or chinese slippers and I am sure if you buy in bulk there they will negotiate with you. Plus you can pick your own colors. I was also thinking of going to Old Navy in the Spring and buying a bunch of pairs of flip flops in various sizes there. They are only a dollar a pair there and they are better quality. I know people will continue to get use out of them even after the wedding.

Try Chinatown or the Aqueduct flea market. No tax or shipping!! I'm doing slippers not flip flops, b/c a lot of women still wear pantyhose.

I got mine from the dollar store on Hempstead tpk in Farmingdale. right before route 109.

how many slippers would you get if you had between 70 - 100 women. I don't think everyone of them will need them... but i'm thinking they also might be a good giveaway.
