For those of you who are married or have ever been to a wedding with the slipper baskets, did your guest use them? My mom seems to think that no one is going to use them and that they are just gonna end up all over the hall.
What were your experiences??

Great post. Whenever I see these on here I think it is such a great idea in theory but have actually never been to a wedding with them.

we had a slipper basket & every single pair was used! imo - it depends where u put the basket...my cousin put hers in the ladies bathroom & she had SOOO many left over. We put ours up by the DJ and had him announce it..(lol he even read the little poem i made).. every pair was taken! In fact, we only ordered 45pairs 'cause we thought noone would use them, but i wish i ordered more! it was a big hit

I figured putting them near the DJ would make the most sense. We will probably have about 185-200 guests at the wedding and I was thinking of ordering 50 pairs in whole sizes. Would that be enough?

we got 45 pairs for 220 people...so if u get 50 for 200 max. u should be fine. good luck! ur guests will love them

Put it by the DJ, on the dance floor and have the DJ make an announcement. They flew like pancakes!!!!

I actually just bought flip flops and socks for my basket. I couldnt decide on which type I wanted to do so I choose to buy size M/L slip flops and women's size 7-9 socks. I will have about 150 people and bought 50 pairs combined.
