OK, these may be silly questions, but what's the deal with slipper baskets? Are the slippers meant to be the favors? In addition to the favors? How do you sort out the sizes and how many to get in each size? TIA!

Re: slipper baskets
I learned about slipper badkets from LIW and have made my own..white ones in navy blue organza bags with little poems and sizes on each. I dont think there meant to be a favor but more of a special little something the ladies will like.... I just thought it was practical since every wedding I've ever went to there was at least a few shoeless dancers.

that sounds great! how did you decide how many of each size to buy? is that just a calculated guestimate?

Re: slipper baskets
I'm doing a slipper basket!! They aren't meant to be a favor, just an extra to give your female guests whos feet have been hurting from getting down on the dance floor lol. I ordered 72 pairs (6 dz) and I'm having approx 200 guests.
ETA: If you're looking to do chinese slippers, I ordered mine from Intertradecorp. Their prices are awesome!

Re: slipper baskets
my pre mailing guest list is 280 but I only got 60...I just figured most of my friends would use them but the older relatives most likely wouldnt. I got sizes 6-9...mostly 7's & 8s cause I think its more pop
