Slipper baskets

Slipper baskets

I'm doing Chinese slippers, not flip flops (my weddding is in Dec so ppl might be wearing pantyhose!) I'm having a dilemma, should I get slippers that match the color scheme of my wedding (brown, champagne, and wine) or should I get all black slippers? Any suggestions? My slipper basket is brown with a brown & champagne damask print.

i dont see why cant u just mix it up...do your colors and add some black in there as well...

we got them to match the color scheme of my wedding.

i think most brides match the theme. when you put them in the baskets on the floor.... it looks really cute when it's the colors to your theme.

of course you can just do black too. with weddings.... anything goes!!

I just got all black. Granted, black is one of my colors, but I figured all black would be easiest.

I would stick with colors that go with your wedding or at least package them in colors for your wedding. I did all black slippers and put them in black organza bags and tied them with wine colored ribbon, it matched my BM's.

I've been to so many weddings and haven't ever heard or seen slipper baskets... if it wasn't for this website, I would have never known about it.

Your pics are beautiful! Where did you get thetags from? Did you make them yourself?

i would stick with black/white slippers... i think most people would be wearing dark colors for a winter wedding

I think you'll be fine either way.

My colors are cornflower blue and hot pink with silver accents. I have no idea what color I'm going to do for my slipper basket. I think I might stick with my theme and get all three colors.
