I'm headed into the city tonight to buy the Chinese Slippers for the Slipper Basket and I'm trying to figure out how many of each size to get. We're expecting about 180 guests - cut that in half for around 90 women was thinking of getting 50 pairs of slippers. How many of each size do you think I should get?
i think your breakdown sounds good ... but i'd buy closer to 60 or 70 of them (i actually bought one pair for each woman that will be attending ... but we'll see if i have extras or not)

I'm going to buy all the BM's Totes slippers (or something like it) - so that takes 7 people out of the 90, plus if I have too many extra I don't know what to do with them.

don't worry, i'm sure most people would take them, even if they don't plan on wearing them that night ... i know i would
ETA: but buying 50 is fine too, especially if the BMs don't need them
