i did flip flops for my BM's instead of slippers for the guests and this is what I wrote for them:

Soon at the alter Billy and I will meet,
For standing up beside me you are so sweet,
So at the reception when you are tired and beat,
To make you feel better,
Just put these flip flops on your feet!
