Slipper Shoes as Wedding shoes....

Does anyone have pictures of slipper shoes that I could use as my wedding shoes (preferably satin) or know any reason why it would not be a good idea to use flats (like how it will look with the dress?) My dress is a ballgown and HUGE so I doubt anyone will see them and I want to be comfortable, but I still want them to be cute. Do heels add anything to the look of the dress if you dont see them. Im pretty short and like i said, my dress is big....so do you think I would need a little height for the dress to lay right?? Thanks!!

I don't have any pictures but, I bought a pair for myself (my FH isn't much taller than me). I bought them from a store called Metropolitan Imports in the city for $32. They are on 6th Ave between 34 and 35. They are really comfy.

Those are pretty--but I definately want closed all around(no sandal) since my wedding is in November. Thanks though!!

I like those too. Mine are pretty simple, they look like ballet slippers, closed all around, with a small little bow in front. I figured they'd be hidden anyway and my wedding is in December.

I don't have any pictures, but just a thought. I've heard a lot of brides say that they didn't like the slippers because they provide no support for the arches, so maybe you would want a flat shoe with arches, as opposed to just a slipper.

So the shoes actually hurt some peoples feet because they had no support?? I would think it would have to have hurt less than heels though-but who knows. Definately good to know it would suck to buy slippers to not have my feet hurt and then have them hurt anyway. Thanks! Maybe Ill practice by wearing my regular slippers out to see how it works:)) Just kidding...maybe I can look for a slipper shoe with some support then....hmmm....
