I'm on the fence, and don't know is it itchy? will it make a noticable line that you may see like a crease at my waist?

Re: slips
With my dress I need to wear one. I got one that has a high waist... so it smooths everything and all that. I got mine from David's for like $40... No, it's no itchy...the inner liner closest to you is silk...at least on mine it is... lol

Re: slips
I am pretty much hell bent on not wearing one because I dont want to look too poofy but the people at Macy's in Manhasset made me buy one.

Re: slips
I got mine at David's when I bought my dress. I needed to wear a slip or my dress would have looked lifeless. It wasn't itchy ... although it did make a huge mark on my back which hurt for about a week...other than that no regrets

Re: slips
i just bought mine, i didnt want to spend a lot of money on a slip so i got mine at Davids. I had the same concern about seeing a crease, esp with the shape of my dress, and the one i got is pretty seamless and comes up to almost under my bra line. it doesnt just end at the waist and make you bulge

wow! I think if I buy the slip from my dress place, they'd charge me that too! Unfortunately, I got hit over the head with my veil like 5X's over- so my slip will have to be cheap!

ok I'll need to check that out b/c my dress is like a drop waist. If they sell ones that come up high that would be perfect!

Re: slips
I bought mine at David's and I loved the way it made the skirt of my dress puff out. However, the second layer of crinoline started cutting up my ankles (I went bare legged) and after the ceremony I wound up taking the slip off.
