For you ladies who had poofy dresses... What type of slip did you wear?

I have a dropped waist ballgown, and my slip is a bottom half crinoline.

I have a tulle ballgown with a dropped waist. I bought a hoop skirt. First fitting is Thursday. We'll see how it works out!

I just did a search and found this: slips & hoops

I am not sure which hoop or extra full slip to get... Do any of you have pics of which one you got? I see some people got adjustable hoops.

I have the one with 3 hoops. It has adjustable hoops. I think the ebay seller was princessbridals, or something like that. I decided to get the hoop because I wanted a really full poofy skirt and I found the crinolines to be very hot and heavy, especially for July.

Thanks for the info Helene. I am a '04 July bride and did not think about the heat factor. Maybe I can install a mini fan..... Hmmmmm.

No prob Jen! I last tried on my dress in February with a full crinoline and after 3 minutes my legs were so hot and sweaty and I felt like I couldn't move. Everytime I took a step, the crinoline would get caught between my legs. It was very awkward. I'll let you know how the hoop works out after my fitting.
