Slow eater or fast eater?

I take forever. I read once that the tastebuds on one side of your mouth detect different flavors than the other side. So I like to roll everything around in my mouth before I swallow it. Get the full effect, ya know.

I'm a big fan of savoring anything you put in your mouth. It's so much more enjoyable that way.

Slow eater. I don't digest food if I eat too fast.

It takes 20 minutes for your brain to realize you actually ate.

Depends on the circumstances. In public, SLOW because I am so obsessed with the fear that I will have food dribble down my chin or something.

At home, fast. I get bored easily. I like to finish one task and move on to the next ...

You how. The man is lucky.

Yeah really. Who said anything about food?

I purposely generalized to allow the hows to make their own conclusions.

You do not dissapoint.

And I've since found out that that thing about the tastebuds is an old wive's tale.

Now... I understand. I just used a different 'terminology'. I stick to 'swallower' not eater.

I think I am a speed eater. JW always tells me I 'chow down' my food.

I love the way JW eats pie.

I wrap my arm protectively around my plate and shovel it in as fast I can

---

DH does that sometimes. Hunches over his food like he's afraid someone's going to take it away from him.

it depends on what I am popping in my mouth.

some things are worth the time to savor...
