Small checks (Wedding Band, DOJ & Shoes)
Had a fun weekend with my mini shopping spree!
After agonizing over my wedding band, I finally got it made and am obsessed with it! Sam at Diamond Roof was great to deal with!
I also finally made a decision on our DOJ and bought mine, my FG's and BM's jewelry. Originally, I was going to give the girls clear rhinestone jewelry, but instead, I decided to do the BM's in sapphire because it matches their navy dresses, but was also my Dad's birthstone. Got myself a ring to match...and it can be my 'something blue.' Fell in love with a pave style fold-over bracelet, so I splurged on myself too...then found two different styles of earrings that I liked, so I bought them both! LOL. I also found a cute ivory pearl and clear crystal necklace & bracelet set for my flower girl. I think it will go nicely with the ivory/gold dress she'll be wearing. So, all I need now is a wedding band for FH and the jewelry is all done!
On Black Friday, I picked up a pair of 4' wedge dyeable shoes from David's Bridal online. I had tried them on in the store when I picked up my dress and they were the perfect height for my dress so that it won't need to be hemmed. They had been $60, but were on sale for $17.50 with free shipping! I couldn't pass that up! Now, I need to see how much it costs to dye them. I was thinking of carrying the navy theme on since I am not a fan of white shoes.
Pics in my 'no boys allowed' album. Woohoo! I love checks, great and small! And with only 3 months to go, I need to get them all done soon!
