So I just signed up to this site today and I'm already asking for help lol. We are trying to keep the guest list down and hold a smaller wedding, anywhere between 50-100 guests. I have called the Watermill, Larkfield Manor, Chateau La Mer, Westbury Manor, Fox Hollow and the Venetian Yacht Club. Anyone else know of any other reception halls that would consider a minimum around 75? Thank you!

Many halls probably will cater to that #. Where is your church (if you're having your ceremony there)? You will want to take that into consideration, too. Our church and hall are only 10 mins away from each other :)

The church is in Melville, hopefully! I still haven't spoken to them about holding the ceremony there. I don't really want anyone to have to travel more than 30 minutes.

the size of the minimum will depend entirely on the season you are getting married in.
I for example, am at the Fox Hollow in the AMAZINGLY beautiful Winter Garden Pavillion....the NORMAL minimum for the room is MUCH higher than what my minimum is because we're a winter wedding.
Our guarantee was 80....so it will definitely depend on what time of year you are getting married...

We are having ours at the Meadow Club in Port Jeff and our minimum is 75. It is good because the room seats 115, so if we go over we will still be ok. They are very helpful there, if you call ask for Joe Carbone-he's very good!

I would like to have it in August on a Sunday night. So far I have made appointments to look at Watermill, Larkfield Manor, Westbury Manor and CLM. Thank you for all your suggestions, as I will definitely check those places out when I get home tonight.
