Does anyone know if it's possible to plan a small wedding (about 50 people) on Long Island in under 3 months?
FH and I are supposed to be getting married in September and now our plans have changed due to a little surprise and we'd like to get married sooner....without spending a ton of $$$ b/c we're in the process of buying and selling houses.....any help is greatly appreciated ladies!

One of my coworkers planned her wedding in six weeks. It can be done it just depends on how detail oriented you are and the formality but that probably ties into the details.

Yeah, LI is full of vendors and places to go to...it can be done! When were u thinking?
My cousin did it in 3 months with 130 ppl! She had it at the Merchant Marine Academy..but I think u need to know somebody....worth looking into maybe?

It can totally be done. We did my cousin's in a month!
You have to be super-organized and have help and delegate. There are so many vendors out there too that you will easily be able to book somebody.

It's so definetly possible!! My mom has told me storys of people planning a wedding in a week. I totally believe that it is possible. If you have any other questions FM me.

My sister had her wedding at Ariana Waterfall in West Hempstead....was really good! She paid around $30 per person and that included invitations, dj, photographer, centerpieces, limos, ice sculptures!!! Food was great too! You should look into it. The only downside was the location...right on Hempstead tpke next to a Wendys if I remember right......and no valet parking.

Check out the The Gatsby in Islip, it's a very nice mansion seats about 80 upstairs and you can have a DJ

I think Verdi's in Westbury can accomodate small wedding too.

It definitely can be done. My brother and his wife planned theirs in one and a half months because of They got married at Gurneys inn...and they got a 'shotgun' package' deal... good luck!!

it can be done.. i used to work in cedarhurst and the Orthodox would do it. you've never seen a faster process from engagement to wedding day!

its def possible, me and FH decided to get married in august and we just decided this about a month ago. we already have the RH , florist, cake, invitations, ect . everything is done. its very possible
