Small wedding in Suffolk Co.

I'm recently engaged, and it is the 2nd marriage for both my fiance and myself. We are looking to have a small wedding (50-60 guests) and are trying to keep the cost minimal, but not so minimal that it's cheesy

We want it more like a party, than the typical wedding, since we've both already done that, and are looking for places in Central to Eastern Suffolk. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I know how hard it is to find a reception place for so few people. I started out with a min of 50 (and now up to 100

)

DEFINATELY try the Snapper Inn, they have a 'lawn' area where they do outside parties RIGHT on the dock/water....It is beautiful and that was our first choice but they dont do Friday affairs on the lawn so we had to look elsewhere...PLUS their prices are sooo reasonable...

Trumpets on the Bay in Eastport

Captain Bills in Bayshore

Danfords Inn Port Jefferson

Try Old Field Club in Stony Brook. Their prices are a little high, but they might be able to work with you on time of day, etc. What's nice about them is it's a small, one wedding at a time place, and they really go above and beyond for you.

I'm getting married at The Meadow Club in Port Jefferson and I think they have a room that would be good for the amount of people you are thinking of having. They are reasonably priced too. Let me know if you want more information.

Hi : )

We are getting married at the Three Village Inn this June with about 85 guests. Check out their website...I think the place is great for a smaller wedding or second marraige.

The Meadow Club in Port Jeff also has a smaller room for weddings and I have been to many weddings there and it was also great. The place is very beautiful too.

You could try The Country House in Stony Brook. My cousin had a small wedding there of 50 people. It is a beautiful elegant restaurant. Lots of luck to you!

Ahhhh...my FAVORITE restaurant! It IS beautiful, but I think alittle too pricey, although I guess it wouldn't hurt to try! THANKS!

I love it there. I was there for lunch the other day. It is so beautifully decorated for christmas. My hubby proposed to me there and my shower was there, so it is a very special place to me. It cant hurt to try!!

I absolutely love the Irish Coffee Pub .. they have great food, good prices and the staff is really great. I would recommend asking to speak with the Banquet manager if you call them. (I believe his name is Frank (he may even be the owner), and he went above and beyond in getting us exactly what we wanted). We used them for our rehearsal dinner .. and I can't say enough great things about how truly awesome it was ... one of the best decisions we made during our wedding planning. We used the Dublin Court.
