We had about 90 people at our wedding--we got married at a vineyard on the east end...it was perfect :)

Oh, definitely look into The Metropolitan Club (the CLUB, not the Metropolitan, though they're owned by the same people).

It's a smaller, more intimate venue than the Metropolitan - the food is amazing and the decor is so classy.

Just call the Metropolitan and they do the booking for both. Check out both on their web site, too: www.themetropolitancaterers.com

We booked there & decided to keep the numbers down so we can book the Metropolitian Club

The Milleridge Inn has some elegant rooms for small weddings.

My sister had about 55 people at her wedding and she got married at Manor East in Massapequa.

I also know that Crest Hollow Country Club accomodates parties of all sizes.

Check out wwww.weddingsitesandservices.com
It shows the capacity of the CH.

Good Luck!

George Washington Manor would be perfect for you.

I completely agree. I've been to small weddings there. The room was so intimate and beautiful.

The Three Village Inn does smaller weddings of 60 people.

One thing to keep in mind--don't end up booking with a minumum for more people than you think you may get. Remember that you will likely get refusals, even from people that you expect to be there.

We ended up booking with a minimum of 85, and although I love our hall, I'm pretty sure we're not going to meet that. I don't want to start inviting random people just to meet the minimum, I want the people that we wanted, if you see what I mean. I don't want to invite people I haven't spoken to in years, or our parents' friends we don't know--we want this to be an intimate celebration with the people we're close to, not a giant free-for-all wedding. If we're under, we still have to pay the same price, so I'm going to end up asking for extras to make up the difference. Chocolate fountain, better drinks, fancy coffee service. I don't think it's going to be many people, but we haven't heard back from a good number, which seems to be typical, from what I hear on the board. The thing is, it's costing us. We're already sort of kissed that money goodbye, so it's not that big a deal, but if we had thought about it, we might have looked further for halls with lower minimums. I didn't know they existed back then.
