I had a friend of a friend that had about 50 people for her wedding (also on a tight budget) at the Thatched Cottage in Centerport. Friends that went there said it was a nice place.

OUt in suffolk I hear people who went to weddings at the Old Irish pub and loved it. I think all inclusive would be cheap and less hassle as most of it is already set up.

a back yard ceremony should be okay if your home is big enough for it...this is the most convenient and cheap method...all guests will never mind as they are your friends or relatives...they will completely understand,the key thing is to fully enjoy yourselves...

I vote for timber point. Granted, I might be a little biased. We had about 95 people and it was perfect!

Check out miller beach surf club, they only hold 120, if you do a Sunday or even a sat in there off season (now) they are very inexpensive..I've also heard great things About there food!! We booked there and for our date were paying $55 a head plus tax and tip

Watermill caterers has a pretty place to get married there, they have nice rooms and aren't crazy expensive esp if u do an off time of year or a Sunday. They are in Smithtown

Smithtown Landing Country Club has different size rooms you can pick from. They have great per person rates but also offer an all inclusive option for 100 people.
