My fiance and I are currently in the process of finding a venue for our ceremony and reception. The only problem is we are expecting only 80-100 guests-which is proving difficult to find a venue that doesn't require a minimum of 100-125 people!
Any recommendation for a venue that:
-can accommodate a smaller guest limit (80-100) -outdoor space -simple decor -around $100/guest

Thats the problem I was finding.....
Most likely your minimum will have to be between 80 and 100

When we first started looking the Vanderbilt at Dowling was letting us have a minimum of 100 people and I think the price was around $100 or $105pp,
ETA: I think Westbury Manor will let you do 75 in their smaller room but I'm not positive. And a bride just had her wedding at Honu in Huntington. I loved her pics and I'm blanking on her name. They don't have an outdoor area but the inside is pretty cool.

I want to say that Westbury Manor and Leonard's of Great Neck have smaller party options? Maybe Smithtown Landing CC? Also, you're prob not going to be able to book a place on Saturday night, since that usually requires a higher minimum.

Douglaston Manor has a smaller room. And depending on what time of year and day of the week you choose, it could def be within your price range.

I went to a wedding at Leonards last year and they only had ~75 guests, Their small room is the Empire room right on the first floor - it was nice.

Two venues I love are Riverview in LIC and TWO in New Hyde Park. Both have low minimums, and have packages starting at $100.

Westbury Manor has a smaller minimum in their upstairs room
But know that the upstairs room only holds 100 people but you can get that price for a Saturday night depending on the time of year
