Small wedding venues
Hey guys! I am new to the board and for engaged in the summer of this year. We are planning a 2016 wedding and I am looking for some venue suggestions that accomodate a smaller wedding (75-90 people). I will also need to do the ceremony on site so would prefer a venue that can do an outdoor ceremony but am willing to consider an indoor ceremony if the space is beautiful.

Mansion at West Sayville (you can do your ceremony outside at the marina on the dock or outside along the Great South Bay on their grounds & they have lower minimums except Saturday nights which is 100 person minimum)The View (another Lessing's venue - Oakdale - right on the water, but I think they only do Saturday day weddings)

Hotel Indigo was actually very cute (modern, so you have to like that type of decor) and is perfect for a smaller wedding. They have an outside area for ceremony. There are some drawbacks but I thought it was a very unique venue.

Thank you! lol FH & I both have played hockey since we were like 6 and that's actually how we met, so we had to incorporate it into our STD some how! lol

Check out Irish Coffee Pub in East Islip (maybe Islip? I get them confused lol). They can definitely accommodate a smaller wedding, but I don't think they have an outdoor ceremony space. Not sure what the indoor option is but it's worth a look. I've heard the food is AMAZING.

Some of my favorites that I think are good for that size are the Timber Pointe Mansion in Great River (may have minimums depending on what day you pick but I dont remember exactly) and Three Village Inn like someone above said. Both beautiful!!We ended up with Fox Hollow, the Winter Garden Room. On a Sunday only has a minimum of 100 people so if you think about bumping it up a little bit (vendors count towards your head count) you could check that room out! I love it!

All of the above have outdoor ceremony spaces too.

Check out Coral House in Baldwin. Some of the smaller rooms are really nice. They also have an outdoor ceremony space by the water.

The lowest minimum I was given at Timber Point was 100 people (Saturday day wedding), but this was for the months of May to October. Outside these months they may give a lower minimum, but the ceremony area is also beautiful! As is the room.

I looked back at my notes and if you're thinking off-season (Sunday March 20th was the date i discussed with them) they did not require a minimum at Timber Point :)
