nah!

I dance no matter who is on the floor at weddings.

Just don't only play journey that kills my moves

Re: Small weddings...

that was me and fh concern. we are inviting 63 people. and most of them are older. we were worried that we were spending money on a dj to get our first dance. but i told the dj to get involved with the people to get them up!!!

I had right about 90, give or take a few people, and the dance floor was packed all night long.

We had a little under 100...the dance floor was packed all night too! We actualyl had to 'bump' people to move out of my way!

I went to a wedding with 65 people at Tall Grass CC at the beginning of the summer and even though it wasn't a large wedding the dance floor was rocking all night.

I think it is just the opposite. Most of the guests know each other, so they will all feel comfortable. I am not worried. I have a small dance floor, so it will look like they are dancing.

AND, if someone's idea of fun is to sit and listen to the music and not dance, that's fine with me.

Re: Small weddings...

We only had 50 people, and we had a jazz band playing (they played some dance tunes and standards also). People did dance, but not as many as with a DJ. I wasn't worried about it--our reception was only 4 hours, and there really wasn't much time to dance with everything else thrown in.

The ages of your guests will also affect this. We had mostly 35+ and quite a few people in their 60s, 70s. So, our music choice worked. The older people were happy that they could talk over the music, and the people in their 30s, 40s thought the music was good.

Same here-- Room minimum is 95, invited about 115.... hopefully I'll make the minimum. The one thing I'm really nervous about is how the tables will look. My immediate family is REALLY small-- no grandparents or anything... so one table will be my Mom, Dad, Sister, her son, and her boyfriend........... That's a table of 10 with 5 freaking people. I am worried to, but I'm sure it will turn out fine for both of us.

crackhead!

have you forgotten who some of your guests are

you know i'll be doing the robot, travis will be 'swimming' through the dance floor, kimmie will be shaking her boo-tayyyy and maya will just be rockin' it all night long- and thats just off the top of my head.

COOOO COOOO
