Smells?

What smells make your stomach turn since you've been pregnant??

It's amazing how you become like a bloodhound when your pregnant. There are so many things I cant stomach now that I have a sniffer like my friends basset hound..
I cant stand when I'm on the LIRR and I get stuck sitting next to the one person that either just finished smoking a cigarette or didnt brush his/her teeth that morning.. UGHHHH I want to vomit. I usually take my newspaper and start waving some fresh air around or completely turn my body to the side so I dont get wiffs of the wretched smell. If all else fails I reach for a piece of mint gum to distract my nose. The other thing that bothers me a LOT is men's cologne. I get so queasy from certain types I want to die! Someone just walked passed my desk and I had to breath into my shirt for a nice blast of clean laundry smell... Ahhhhhhh

Oh, .. and lets not even talk about my DH's gas.. Holy Cow.. It's 100000000000x's stronger then ever I can smell it even after a 1/2 hour of his release..

Anyone else having problems with smells??

OMG I was having the worst problems with smells... Especially when I was having MS... Cigarettes really bothered me, tuna, chicken... blah... I would start dry heaving..

Chicken is a big offender.

Also, the woman who sits next to me at work bring her own cooking to the office for lunch and let me tell you, that stuff stinks. All her food smells like spoiled cream sauce. (Not that I know what spoiled cream sauce smeels like, but that's the best discription I could think of...)

Well, at least she doesn't bring it in every day...

I lived with my folks both times and I could always tell when the gas was on in the house. I got so sick. Everyone thought I was crazy when I told them I could smell the gas

OMG cigarette smell kills me! If I can smell it on you I will puke right on you and now that DH has decided to take the habit up again, he has to shower a lot more to get near me!! The other one is coffee. I have ALWAYS hated it and forget it if I smell it, I will lose it!

the worst is being trapped in the elevator with the smokers. The stench is unbearable and its quite difficult to stifle a gag!

I couldn't stand the smell of food cooking. Cooking dinner was terrible, I never wanted to eat anything that I cooked. Now that I am past the sickness stage, I can tolerate most smells a lot better.

Raw chicken. I cannot stand that either. Still can't! I used to eat a ton of chicken but because of this I can't stomach chicken that much anymore!!!

Meat (hamburger, steak) cooking used to make me want to barf. Or cooking fish (though that still makes me ill not preggo)

Garlic....ughhhhhhh I cant stomach the smell of garlic at all anymore. Thank God I found these black cherry candles and I burn them every time I have to cook with garlic

I can't stand chicken either...however, if I take a meat tenderizer and pound it flat to make cutlets then I'm ok.

Yes...I have dog nose too. Its amazing how the sense of smell is heightened. I spend 1/2 the time at work with my hand covering my nose because the smells make me want to barf!
