Smithtown hair

Hello... We're getting married March 23 in Smithtown. I am not from the area, but am looking for a reasonably priced salon for a simple updo and light makeup. Any suggestions? Thank you!

There are a few that I can think of... First, there is Salon Jolie (sp) in Nesconset (right near smithtown) that my mother uses and loves! Second, Scruples in St. James (also next to smithtown) where I get my nails done also does hair, and I have seen many brides get their updo's done there, and they look great! For me, I am using a hairdresser who works privately out of her house (she's been doing my hair for over 10 yrs). otherwise I would consider any of the above. That's it! Salon Jalesse! I feel dumb getting the spelling wrong. Let me know if you need the phone #. On the other hand, I haven't heard of Cactus. Perhaps someone else has. I have been to a wedding at the smithtown sheraton and loved it. Have a great time!

i have used cacuts hair salon in islandia myself. they are excellent. call and ask for joe he can recommend a hairstylists that does updo's. the phone number is 631-348-4327 or 4762. they are open tuesday through saturday. patti

I`ve raved about her so much on this site since my September wedding. You can do a search to read all about it. I just posted a message not too far back .. maybe in the past two weeks. She is really great with hair, makes everything seem as though it`s 'no problem,' which is how everything turned out, and is really great to deal with.
