I had my weding there in October and it was awesome. The food was great and the staff and everything was awesome.. Not one single complaint... There is so much space there and i was so happy that I had so many choices for my ceremony and cocktail hour. They are very very flexible. If I were you I'd do it there.

Re: Smithtown Landing?
Looked at all Lessings properties. Smithtown Landing was too old fashion looking for us--too florally. Tall Grass was beautiful and lots of windows--too small for 200. And West Sayville LOW CEILINGS YUK! Needless to say the Bourne and its high prices won us over.

Re: Smithtown Landing?
I just actually got on this website this month. I have been talking to some of my friends who are on this and they have told me I should do a review and stuff. Im not the type of person to post pics though. If i get time I will do the review. In regards to the last post about being too old fashioned, i think its 'different' in its own way and very quaint and its good for the brides and grooms who are looking for a flexible place. The cocktail room overlooking the river is beautiful. awesome for pictures.

Re: Smithtown Landing?
I live near there and I like it a lot. Never been to a reception there though. IMO, I prefer the 'old fashionedness' to the shiny-ness of some of the newer places.

We're having our reception there and I love it! I visited a few other places but fell in love with it bc it has such an intimate feeling. Any questions feel free to FM me.

Re: Smithtown Landing?
A friend is having her wedding there.... she is very happy about the place... and i know they got a great price... the only thing so far that has upset her at all is the BM changed... the one that signed her is no longer there for some reason...

Re: Smithtown Landing?
FSIL had her wedding there (Imperial room?) in Sept 01. She was very happy, and from what I remember, it was a great wedding.
I also had my sweet 16 there, in the smaller Nissequoge Room.
