You MUST get one of these. It will make getting around so easy when the baby is still in the infant seat, even if you have a stroller that accomodates an infant seat. This is on my list of the Top 5 must haves.

Re: snap n go
I know everyone loves this and maybe I am wrong, but my Metrolite stroller is only 11lbs or so. How many strollers do I keep in the car? The snap and go seems great for people with larger, heavier strollers. no?

I also registered for a super light stroller, but when you attach an infant in an infant car seat, it becomes heavier, while the Snap N Go weighs virtually nothing at first, and then just adds the baby and the car seat. The Snap N Go (from what I'm told) is also easier to move around than a stroller with an infant seat attached.

Re: snap n go
My stroller was only 13 lbs but I stopped using it till he was out of the infant seat once my SIL lent me the Snap & Go. I found it so simple to just open and pop the baby into, more so than the stroller. Even if I was just running into Starbucks for 3 minutes, it was never a hassle to just open it up and just put the carseat into it. It's very narrow, so it made manuverability so simple. Also, the strollers tend to not allow access to the basket under the seat when the seat is full reclined, you can easily get underneath the S&G when you are shopping. He was in the infant seat in the winter so rapidly getting him to where we needed to go was imperative. And the wheels are smaller so it was easier to get through doors.
Lastly, because it was so slim and quick & easy to use, I think it made the lifestyle transition from being a get up and go person without a child to being a mother who has to get a baby out of the car and bring the baby everywhere (even small errands) much easier. I mourned the day I had to say goodbye to the infant seat b/c of missing my S&G . Of course now I'm use to this stage of hauling him in & out of the car seat.

ETA: Is a Starbucks stop EVER 3 minutes? Who am I kidding? The lines take 10 minutes!

Re: snap n go
I have one and love it..............the only bad part is that it is only up to 20 pounds. So those of you having linebackers will only get about 5 months usage out of it. A well worth purchas though and a definite must have.............

Re: snap n go
just my 2 cents- I did not get one of these univiersal car seat carriers. I purchased the graco infant car seat..and I think that is called a snap and go .(I could be wrong!)..cu u left the base of the car seat int he car..and snap out the infant carrier. I still use this (since it is in my car0..and clip the infant carrier into mu regular stroller...when Julianne is sleeping. If she isnt sleeping I find that putting her into the stroller without the infant carrier works better for her..she can stretch out better

Re: snap n go
The snap and go is actually another carriage that the car seat fits into.
