I'm really thinking of wearing converse at the reception...or something silly. I like the way heels look and I'll wear them when I walk down the aisle but I'm already thinking how annoying they'll be later and how I'll kick them off as soon as I'm married lol.

a lot of my friends had matching converse sneakers for the GM's for the reception, also had matching sneakers for their engagement shoot.
if you are wearing it under your gown, no one will really see it, so i dont think it matters much.
i'm thinking of just earing flip flops the entire time.

Yep!
I was thinking either converse in a cool color, or those white bride sneakers, or most likely- flip flops. After the first dance those shoes are coming OFF

Just be careful if you're going from a high heel to sneakers, which would be very low heeled. If there's a significant difference in heel height, you may wind up stepping on/tripping over the front of your dress.

I'm wearing converse for some pics. I'll be blinging them out. I have all the supplies, maybe I'll work on it tonight.
But, keep in mind if you have heels on and then change to flats, the dress is going to drag on the floor. I'm going to stick out the heels until around midnight when I change into my after party dress!

I plan on wearing nice flip flops for the reception. And for my dance with my dad, I told him if he can me a pair in my size, him and I will wear bowling shoes (with socks) for our dance. He made a joke about it but I think it meant something to him so I told I'd do it!

FH is doing the matching converse for him and the GM. I'm going to walk down the aisle and do the dances with the heels but I'm might do the garter retrieval with the sneakers. and wear them the whole rest of the party.
