sniff. so i woke up this morning...

and saw (and felt!) a huge lump on my right cheek, or more like that area in the jaw that is near the ear. i've been feeling it since then and now i feel that the lump is getting bigger (already extending to the back of my ear). i don't feel any ear-aches or even a tooth-ache which might cause it...

my body is definitely fighting off something but i really hope it's not something serious. i don't have any sick days left! aggh. (i'm more worried with the sick days than the sickness itself! sheesh!)

i may just have to stop by the ER later. sigh.

not itchy. just warm. no marks either so it doesn't look like an insect bite (no bitemarks on the neck too! was kindda hopping Edward would have done it - sorry. i just had to add that in, was reading new moon last night)

Could be a lymph node infection, you might have gotten bit by something and got an infection. FH had something like that and it turned out to be cat scratch fever (he got bit by a flea) they put him on a week of antibiotics and he was fine. Call you dr and see if they can squeeze you in so you dont have to pay the added cost for the ER

i'm thinking if it's the outside it's just an allergy.

and i agree it could be your lymphnodes too if its on the inside. i have enlarged ones and they get swollen (totally not painful but could take a while to go down). i have no idea what brings it on b/c i'm not always sick when it happens but you should get it looked at.
