sniffle....

Just walked over to my parents house to say hi and when I got there, my Dad was up and walking around so well with the use of a walker. I couldn't believe how well he was doing! And he was showing me the improvement in his leg strength and some of his exercises. I was so happy and then he said his motivation is that he has to walk me down the aisle. I just bawled my eyes out!! Happy tears though......

It just filled my heart because 5 weeks ago, we didn't know if he would survive, let alone be walking again.

Thanks so much everyone. Its a miracle and we are very blessed. Just to explain- my father was in the plane crash out in Farmingdale in October- thats why its just amazing to see him improving. It had been a nightmare.

Thanks Mara. There were 4 of them in the plane. My dad and 2 others survived, have all had extensive surgeries and all are expected to make a full recovery. Unfortunately one of their friends passed away from a heart attack after the accident.
