Snorters

Snorters

My office mate is snorting like there is no tomorrow in sight, in spite of the fact that there is a nearly full box of tissues on his desk. (It would be totally full, but I pilfered some so I could BLOW MY NOSE, which is what tissues are for).

I really might need to find another place to work this afternoon, or I might puke.

ewwww!

I hate this! It's usually men, too.

There's an old man (husband of a patient) who comes into my office 3x a week. He snorts the whoooole hour he's there, and it's so disruptive!

Last week, one of our receptionists poked her head into the waiting room, and said, with her SWEETEST smile, 'Hey Mr. SOandSO, you don't sound too great today! Allergies acting up? We can hear you inside. Do you need a tissue? If you need anything, just let us know. Feel Better!'

Re: Snorters

I'll admit that sometimes I snort if I can't blow it out. It has to go somewhere or else I can't breathe and sometimes blowing your nose doesn't help.

the woman next to me snorts!!! And it doesn't seem to have anything to do with sniffles or anything - - -it's just like a tick that she snorts all the time! And to hear her chew food and snort.....it's enough to make you sick!!

Thankfully this is only a short-term project, so I only have to deal with her for a few weeks.

I wouldn't mind if it was occasional, but if I had a buck for everytime he's done it today I could buy a really good bottle of wine.

This is something that grosses me out more than anything. I get mad at DH when he does it and tell him to blow his nose, but he says it doesn't help because it's trapped in the back of his throat
Oh, so I guess it's better and more tasty to just snort it?
I swear, I almost vomit when I hear people snort....

I don't like it, but sometimes you just have to snort.
