snow day 4 me

we got a snow day!!! and now ti is just raining!!!

i got the call at 600am

they prob called it cuz it was s'pose to snow until 9am...so the buses wouldnt be able to go out and buses all the hs, middle school, and elementary kids.

i look outside now and it is now raining!

I am going shopping today!

I got a snow day too!!! I love it, there isnt even snow on the ground and I get to have a long weekend

Let me tell you, the roads are awful!
I was supposed to be off from work today, taking vacation days, but I had to come in.
The fact that is snowed and then rained made all the slush on the roads, and there absolutely no traction on the roads.
My car totally spun out when I was driving to the train station. I don't know how I didn't hit anything as I lost control and my car did a 360, but I was lucky.

Snow day for me too.. but by choice. I called out. Frig that. You think its hard travelling to the city from Long Island? Staten Island is WORSE The busses here never run normal on regular days. Snow days are even worse.

Im home now.. Im going to pop in a movie in a few minutes and then probably head off to the mall at around 3:00. Hopefully Some of this snow will melt

Nope, not for me. I actually got up an hour earlier to drive FH into lower Manhattan & then I came into Brooklyn. Lots of fun!

I can't believe how many schools closed for this rain!! Wish I was a teacher, I'm stuck at work. Glad it's a Friday but I could've really used the long weekend!!

i have a snow day too
I think many schools closed bc the freezing rain in the AM was NOT good for the school buses. Many times its the bus co. that makes the decision

My boys were so UPSET when they said all city schools were open. They were praying infront of the TV this morning!!! They were so cute I had to laugh. Then I realized I had to drive in this mess to drop them off!!!

Wish I was home, instead of at work!!
