Snow is coming and I am not happy! My job is making me hate when it snows... Working a twelve hour shift from 7pm-7am for a week or two straight can do that to you... Especially when it might happen during the holidays...

friggen snow!!!!!! i havent finished shopping yet.. i was supposed to go out on wednesday to finish but i have the flu!!! sooo off i go today.. flu or no flu.. better than shopping in the snow!

Yeah I work for NYC Sanitation Dept.... I used to love the snow especially playing football in it... But my job takes the fun out of it...
FH works for sanitation as well, as an environmental cop, so I know what you mean.

oh nooooooo, no snow. not on a friday when my commute is enough of a pain as it is. the last time it snowed sometime last year, i left work at 2:30 and i didnt get home til 7. It was absolut hell. this better not be bad tomorrow cuz i have to finish christmas shopping too! ok, enough of my freak out lol

i completely agree! lol its not convienent on the weekdays, plus my school would never close down for bad weather. the world would be ending and nyc public schools would still be open!

This is my first year in the NYC schools and I heard that they didn't close for ANYTHING!! I was hoping the snow would hold off...i don't wanna be stuck in traffic for hours :(
