So what do you ladies think? Are you praying for the big one? I am praying for it, I don't want to go to work. So we having to do the snow storm dance so the schools in QUEENS are closed I know LI schools always close on snow days.

the only catch w/ a school closing is the fact that my kids are taking the ELA on tuesday, so i feel like i need EVERY LAST SECOND with them...aaaahhhhhhhhh. it's a high stress situation, but a day off would certainly help me get ahead on the pile of 120 essays i still need to grade before i start on their projects
Awww that's true the test are this week. Poor kids they are stressed out.

I voted that I dont want the snow because I know the schools won't close.... in all my years attending nyc public schools, they closed ONCE and it was for a storm that was over two feet of snow. I heard we're only supposed to get four inches tonight.

NOOO I have a flight to myrtle beach monday night... it cant be cancelled and I am afraid to fly in bad weather!!!!!!

I want alot of snow!!!! We didnt get one snow day last year and if we dont get it we lose it so this year I want one. I would like it better if it was a Thursday night and had off Friday. 3 day weekend plus it wont be bad when we go back on Monday .

I work at a hospital, so I have to work no matter whta, therefore I dont want snow

i dont want the snow b/c i work for a hospital and they dont care about us and we need to drive into work and stay the whole day and then leave and the end of a snow storm. And even if i do take off i would have to call out sick or not get paid for the day.

I love snow!!!! Although I do need to get in to work to get books for a lesson I am getting observed doing (for a demo lesson I have to do on Thursday....hope I get this job!).....but I can always get them Tuesday!
