Driveway! You'll get plowed in if you're out in the road!
Then you'll have to shovel around your car to dig it out instead of just having to shovel the end of your driveway.

Driveway!
You'll get plowed in BAD in the street.
Also if the snow is bad the plow truck may not see how close he is to your car- it is VERY common for a plow truck to accidently side swipe a car when there are bad snow conditions.
DO NOT PARK IN THE STREET if you don't have too!!
Park in your driveway at the very end by the road - less to shovel.

Def the driveway - getting plowed in really ***** but for those of us who like digging out cars (me) it can be fun!!!
A pro of parking on the street is it's A LOT easier to clean up your driveway - its annoying to have to move around the cars.

Re: snow/parking advice
Here's my dilemma... is it going to be easier to dig my car out once on the street and then just find spots or park in later? CAuse if I park int he driveway, I have to dig out the sidewalk, driveway apron AND all the crap plowed into the drvieway, KWIM? BUUUUT, if I do that, I'll always have a place to park.
I'm concerned, too, b'c I'm having surgery Friday and FH is staying with me this weekend so I'm worried baout where he's gonna park to. I don't have a snow blower :( I RENT AN APT I shouldn't need one, !
WHAT DO I DOOOO?

definitely utilize the driveway if you have one - you don't want to get plowed in

Re: snow/parking advice
Driveway it is I guess.. but it's not really gonna be easier to dig out what the snow plows force into the driveway

Awww, lol, no, I have to stay home because I'm the 'super' for the house.. by accident... so I'm responsible for snow removal... otherwise I'd ditch and go to FH's house and let them snow blow me out on THursday.
Whatever, I'll live. It's 6 of one, half a dozen of the other, I guess, so I'll park in the driveway.

Re: snow/parking advice
Driveway!!! Easier to clear the plow trails at the bottom than along the entire length of your car. Plus depending on the car you might get stuck for days (I have a sedan, FH has an SUV....we can see who will likely be driving in the near future...)

Driveway! Park your car in backwards so you can just drive out. Park the car/truck that drives best in the snow at the end of the driveway.
