Snuff Mill

I'm currently looking at the NY Botanical Gardens too!! I love the pics online. It seems like a very intimate setting. We have an appointment to meet with someone from Abagail Kisch on Sunday (they run the parties at NY Botanical Gardens), and we will be looking at the Garden Terrace Room (we wouldn't fit in the Snuff Mill.) Over the phone the quoted us at $138 for a Sunday evening in July in the Garden Terrace room with 100+ people. Plus you have to pay a site fee that is a little over $1000. They say right away 'we're not cheap.' I have heard that the food is amazing and if you have ever been to the grounds you already know that they are beautiful. I'll found out more info on Sunday if you're interested. BTW I know you were previously looking at Cafe on the Green, how did you like it? (I live right by it but have never been.)

Okay I guess Snuff Mill is out of my price range. It was worth a try. I really liked Caffe on the Green! It would have been perfect, in fact I would have signed the contract that day if I could have afforded it. It was $95pp Sat or Sun afternoon and $110 a person for Saturday night. We only have about 50-60 people and we would have used the Bayview room. I'm getting mad just thinking about it. I definately could picture my wedding there. Too bad we barely have any money to work with. Just because I have a small budget I don't want to have a crappy place. Thant's why I'm only having about 50-60 people
