So.. 1st Tour Done..14 to go & FH Moved in!!!

Went & took a tour of Woodbury today with FH.. it was BEAUTIFULLLLL & also totally out of our price range.. womp womppp

Many more to seeeee.. I can't wait to pick one already! LOL

&& This weekend.. FH officially moved in! We're living in a 2-bedroom apartment in my parent's house.. so exciting. For those living with your FH.. any advice?

Lol @ falling in the toilet seat That is the worst! Luckily my FH is good with this. Before he even moved in and would just come to visit I had already told him about the seat.. not only do I not want to fall in lol.. but the lid needs to be down bcuz my cat Lucky loves to play with water and will jump in the bowl and splash water everywhere!! Weird for a cat right? Lol

Try not to go to sleep angry or upset with each other. Also whatever u need help with something just ask! Sometimes I want FH to automatically know what needs to be done around the house or helped with but guys really are just clueless sometimes lol so just ask!

At falling in, i am so glad i am not the only one who does this.

I keep telling myself he WILL learn. (he still hasnt and its been over a year)

As far as advice, i had a hard time not being next ot him every second we were home together, i thought i needed to be there, learning taking time in our own space is ok was big for me and saved us, b/c we were both feeling suffocated at times. So keep yourself open for his concerns too, let him know when you need help w the dishes or dusting, and expect arguements, they are part of learning this new part of each other, but most importantly NEVER go to bed mad or without telling each other you love the other. He drives me crazy, makes me laugh and can call me out on my stuff, but i always end the day with a kiss.

I agree with the above. I dated my FH for five years before we moved in together..you'd think I would know everything there is to know about him but I WAS WRONG!

Quirky little habits come out..sometimes you see true colors. For the most part--i just fell more in love.. but you have to learn to tolerate each other living in the same space and being together a lot.

Definetely make time to be away from each other--go out with your friends..have a good time and be thankful that you have a home to come to where you can always meet in the middle.

Never go to bed sad or angry.. work with each other but most of all LOVE each other!

We were dating 8 years before we moved in and its like WHOA!!! They are messy and they do not see the mess you are talking about. Its like they have different eyesight or something. Patience is KEY!!! And its something i am still trying to figure out.

Also, remember its their house too. I sometimes forget its not just mine, its ours, and ill say mine or my living room or bed, when its OUR bed. And ill invite people over without thinking, when i should make sure he wants people over, since it is his house too. I'm still learning too.

WE moved in and, suddenly, FH forgot how to put dishes in the sink, take his dirty socks off the living room floor or clean the bathroom sink after himself. But i learned quickly never to point that out when i was frustrated or annoyed... wait until the moment passes. I'll say things like 'Oh my god! You're ok?! You didn't die lifting that heavy dish to the sink?!'
He still makes it a point to text me to say 'I did the laundry!' or 'I vacuumed' I just tell him he's the best fiance ever...and he keeps it up!

Haha!! I think us women should just glue the toilet seat down

FH and I moved in together after we were dating for 2 months (long. long story) and it was great at first, but you do get on each other's nerves sometimes and you basically are stuck dealing with it because you can't tell them to go home lol

Just pick you battles! And make sure you have time for you/your friends and vise versa... remember that just because you live together doesn't mean you have to spend every single moment together!!
