So 2014 brides...

We met when he moved next door to me...He was 13, I was 14. He became friends with my brother and began coming around a lot. It started off an a friendship, he was there for me during some tough times. Eventually we both had feelings for each other, (he confessed that he had fallen in love with me) but I was afraid to take it to that next level (mostly bc I was 2 grades ahead of him!). I decided eventually that it didn't matter what other people thought of the difference in age, and I decided to 'give it a try'. We dated for 4 years in high school. After i graduated, I felt that we were just too young (we had been together since we were 14/15) and we needed to both experience other things since we really had only been with each other. We broke up - both dated other people, he joined the Army and went to Afghanistan, I went to college.

Over 3 years later, we ended up meeting back up. All the old feelings came flooding back and I knew that this was meant to be. We got back together in early 2009 and are now getting married after almost 8 years together total! :) I have to say... when we were 15 we both always said that we knew that we were 'the one' for each other. People doubted us, but when you know, you know!

I LOVE all of these stories...especially this one!!

FH and I met in College. I was a freshman and he was a senior :) I really wasn't looking for a relationship at that point because I just wanted to focus on school. I remember the night we met I had gone to the Jets game earlier that day and was wearing a Jets jersey. We started talking about football, music, movies, etc. and I realized we had a lot in common. A few days later, our mutual friend (who introduced us) told me that FH liked me and wanted to stop by my dorm room to say hello. He was too nervous to come see me by himself so our mutual friend went with him lol

Seven years later, here we are
