me to.they have nice dresses but i have heard so much bad stuff about davids, i dont think its even worth it to look. they also order the dress like 6 sizes to big so you have to pay for all the alterations

David's is VERY hit and miss. I went to the one in Westbury and it was hideous. The one in Lake Grove, much nicer. Had no problems ordering my dress. I ordered my dress in the size that I wanted and when it came in, it fit perfectly and I took it home. I'm not even getting it altered through them. They gave me no issues what so ever. I know not everyone has a smooth process though.

David's wasn't always like that. I remember when my cousin got married in 1990 they actually ordered her dress and it took months to come in. IDK why they are the way they are now. I mean, they're not really letting any bride walk out of the store with a ratty looking dress, but, it's not being made for them either. I think the chain really has a poor reputation in the Northeast. Because from what I understand, their CS is outstanding everywhere else in the country.

i ordered my dress from a store in buffalo none of the stores around here had my size but i'm still waiting for it i have a date of 7/21 for it so i'm guessing it's actually being made. but i hope it comes in while my MOH is here so she can see it on me we need to make other desicions with it lol

i've heard they order the sizes too big BUT on my receipt it says the size they were supposed to order because it is the dress i tried on that fit perfectly with some minor alterations, i was going to go today but the weather is so bad.

the one up here the girls asked me what size color blah blah blah i wanted and thats exactally what it said on my receipt if you go in and hate it make them order what you want.... they say final sale but you can always order something else don't let them give you the run around
lol i'm come down and tear some one a new you know what if you need me to
