I went dress shopping for the first time today and wow! It surprised me what shape and style I ended up liking when I thought for certain I didnt. No decisions yet ... but what was it like for you girls who went dress shopping or found the one? Is there a feeling? I feel sort of awkward at one point just standing there with one of the dresses I really liked. Ahhhhhhhhhh! I dont know what my problem is! I loved so many but didnt get any 'feeling' for some reason. What is that???

I loved the shape I knew I would but i liked so many of them because they were all pretty similiar except the one I ordered had a different train than the rest that i loved!

Honestly, I tried on about 5-7 dresses and the one I chose was the only one I felt totally comfortable in. I don't know if I got that 'ahhhh' moment, but I just really felt like a 'bride' in it. And it's so true what you said - I never in a million years would've thought I'd like a strapless dress on me, but that's what I ended up getting. Good luck! ETA~Sorry- totally crashed your board

I have not try on any dress... But i believe u will hve to try MANY... MANY times soemtimes until u found THE ONE.... and when YOU find the... You WILL know

I tried on probably 30 dresses. The one I ended up getting was the 3rd one I tried on. I kept comparing all of the ones I tried on after to it, so I just knew it was the one when none of the others lived up to it. But I never got an 'OMG this is the one' feeling. My mom did, for a dress I didn't like

i ended up LOVING the first dress i tried on.. i was in a crazy position. bc when i told them i loved the dress but it was the first store i went to.. they called me the next day and told me that my dress that i loved was being discontinued! i had 2 weeks to order it... so i spent the next 2 weeks looking at other dresses. and then i just ordered the one i LOVED.. it was an ahhh momenet for me.. but i was forced to make a decision so quickly.. i hope i made the right one
