So a vendor got back to me tonight...

... 6 months after I went to the place to ask questions!!!

'Hello?'

'Hi, this is ::insert vendor:: I am looking to speak with Jessica'

'Yes, speaking. What is this in reference to?'

'The wedding you booked....'

'Um.. we never booked you. We booked someone else. The last contact I had with you was October.'

'Ok, thank you...'

Seriously... went to this vendor back in October. They were going to write up an estimate then call us back. Well, this was their call-back!

It is amazing how so many vendors can be so impersonal

I had a woman contact me 3.5 months after I went to price her. Mind you she told me she was sending me mock ups. It was for invites. I knew she was WAYYYYYYYYY over priced so I wasnt waiting for her or upset I couldnt work with her. I found someone WAYYYYYYY better!

But when she did finally contact me, she emailed me and wanted to know if I still wanted to work with her, if I still wanted a mock up made and to get back to her RIGHT AWAY! So she STILL didnt make the mock up!!!!!!!

I wrote her back like 2 weeks later stating that I found someone else to do my customized invitation. And that a word of advice, she wants her customers to trust her with one of the most important pieces of one of the most important days of someones life and she forgets about them? Because contacting me 3.5 months later with NO mock up wasnt a delay it was you forgot about me. Just a friendly reminder to NEVER forget your customers. Good luck in all you do.

That's insane! be glad you didn't book with them! I wouldn't have either! They need to show they are responsible. We don't need them half as much as they need us! There are a MILLION other vendors out there that would jump at the chance to book our weddings.... not the other way around. GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE GOES A LONG WAY!!!!!!!!!!

some vendors forget that this isnt so comercial to us as it is for them
