We picked out all of our flowers today and FH told our florist when we discussed the BM's bouquets that they had to be 'fully wrapped'. I had said I had no preference and to do whatever the florist wanted. FH does not want the stems to show I am so amused by it and can't stop laughing since he wanted NOTHING to do with flowers

Ths is cute. I was a 'no stems showing' person right from the start!!
Not sure if my husband cared but I had a thing about it.

FH has had an opinion about EVERYTHING Flowers are the one thing that I expected him NOT to care about at all
He went to nearly all the halls with me, the videographers (except one), the photographers plus the DJ's and band showcases (but music is his thing and I expected that). The only thing he had no say in was my dress.
He has been trying to make sure that I did not make HIS WEDDING 'cheesy'

I had a similar experience. DH wanted nothing to do with the flowers, in the end he chose not only the style of the centerpiece but the flowers to be used as well!

that's so funny....when FH and I went to look at invites he kept saying 'shouldn't the text be left justified' - my mouth was open in shock...I was like, 'since when do you care about these details?'
This post really made me laugh, so thank you for sharing!
It is good to hear that I am not alone. My FH swore he wanted nothing to do with planning at all. He claimed he didn't care, but when it came time to make decisions he made comments, suggestions, and had opinions on EVERYTHING....down to the typestyle of the invitation and the amount of flowers in the centerpeices. So much for not caring, lol.

I wish my FH would say something about what he wants, besides to marry me. He says every invite looks the same, every cake looks the same and every flower looks the same, etc. Ladies, we know that just aint true!! I feel that if we were making the decisions together it would take the pressure of decisionmaking off me.

That is so sweet that he is getting involved. FH does that, but like your's, he says the most random things at the most random times. But I think it is really cute when he does it. He is trying so hard to be a part of the planning process, so I really try to take every bit of advice he gives and work with it so that it is our wedding!
