My wedding is literally 1 month form today and my cousin called my dad tonight after she tried to book the hotel room to stay over (she lives in Arizona so obviously the hotel is a must for her). There are a few rooms still available so that wasnt the issue. Her issue was the price of the rooms. She thought it was too much for just one night that she would need it. Are you kidding me?!?! I didnt even know how to react to that.

I would NEVER call and complain about the price of the hotel that is blocked for a wedding.......not to mention she got married last year and her hotel was the same price. Ugh now my dad has me looking up other hotels in the area just to make 1 person happy and she wont get the shuttle either.

Tell her to find a Howard Johnson or a Holiday Inn or whatever herself and that you have had these hotel reservations for months and NOW she's going to complain??? You have other things to worry about right now and this isnt one of them!

Why don't you ask her why it wasn't too much for her wedding but it is too much for yours? She can look on expedia herself!

Tell her to sleep on the side of the road if she wants to save money. How ridiculous; I can't believe that she would have the audacity to call your dad and complain to him about this. Complain privately if you want, but calling the FOB is just rude.

I had the same thing people were saying it was to expensive...So I didnt stress over it I said do what you want heres the address of the reception hall go online and find a hotel that has the best price for you..... WE shouldnt have to deal with that were stressed as it is!
