So annoyed!
I was always planning on having a harp or string quartet or something for the church cause i really dont like the way an organ sounds... So i called the church today to schedule the rehearsal and the convo goes a little something like this
lady: so will you be using the organist?
me: um, no, i actually wanted to book a harpist or string quartet for the ceremony
lady: oh no you're not allowed to do that
me: why not??
lady: father so-and-so wont allow it
me: i dont understand why it's not allowed
lady: all i can tell you is that he wont allow that in the church
how is that a valid reason?!?!? especially when i've been to several greek weddings where there has been a different instrument used for the ceremony, so obviously its not against our religion or anything!
