so annoyed i have to vent...please dont mind my rambling!

OK so i have this friend who is also a BM i have known her since i was liek 10 or 11....She has been dating this guy who is ALOT OLDER than she is...now iam not one to talk about age being that Steve and I are 12 years apart...but the guy she is with is like 50!!! Now no offence to anyone marring anyone at that age but i get a real bat feeling from this guy...he just urks me.. she broguth him with her to my E-party and he came in a pair of jeans and a white t-shirt...now it was outside but still come dressed a little nicer....and the whole time they just sat all the way in the back and didnt really talk to anyone!!!
So anyways as of last year they are living together...fine..not 1 word about an wedding or anything...until we really started doing stuff for my wedding.......now they are getting married....and its in 2 weeks in FL with a justice of the peace....i really feel she is doing this to beat me....so she is married first. They have been togetehr like 4 years or something he has kids 1 is not too much off from her age. She calls me and starts asking me where i got this and that for my wedding but never calls to ask me if I need anything for MY wedding! She has always been liek this and i do love her dearly she is one of my oldest friends but its annoying me that she never asks anything to do with my weddign. even when my MOH or BP call her to talk abut my wedding she changes the whole convo to her....they dont even wanna call her!! ugh it is just annoying me this is MY TIME I HAVE WAITED 7 YEARS FOR THIS WEDDING AND I GODDAMN DESERVE IT I AM SO MAD I WANNA SCREM AT HER!!

maybe i am being a bridezilla but i am just annoyed!!!

You are not a bridezilla...she thinks it's all about her. You should tell her you're too busy with your wedding that you've been planning to talk to her.

WOW that's a whole lot going on!

My bottom line is say something to her. Tell her you don't appreciate how she calls you for advice and never asks how you are or what you need. You wouldn't mind telling her anything if you felt the care and concern came from her as well. Its a two-way street!!!

Its better to get it all out of the way now and off your chest. Don't hide your feelings and keep them in side to dwell upon. Glad you got that all out and I hope you feel better soon

the other day i was talking to her and she says ' yeah so we are thinking of doing something up here sometime between april and May to celebrate our wedding....' i said ' um...I AM GONNA NEED YOU APRIL AND MAY!!! she was like oh i know its just a brinch or something not a recpetion..i said well why didnt you say that in the beginning here you had me thinking you were having a real reception...i will tell you this...i am probobly gonna be too busy to go....and honetly i wont have $$ to get you anythign so if you wanna fill that seat with someone else thats fine with me!

its not even that im keeping the feelings in...now i talk alot but this girl doesnt even take a breath!!!!!! i can never get a wrd in!! lol if she alls again today im gonna say something if she brings up any wedding stuff

my mom had a friend who always had to top her...had to have the better car, the better family, bragged on how her kids sweet 16s were better...talked down about the things my mom could afford....she would try and spoil my mom, but she continued to put down everything in my moms life....and it killed her..

after my sisters sweet 16 a few years ago...my sister didnt give her family a candle bc she wasnt close to them (i was and i gave them one at mine) and then the friend sent my mom a letter never to contact her, and she felt MY MOM was COMPETING with HER!!!!

My mom cried for days.....

People like this,....no matter how long we know them, arent going to change...thats who they are. While u cant control when she plans her wedding or what she does....just take control of the situation back. Dont rely on her. Dont give her advice and dont be readily available. She can do whatever she wants, but that doesnt mean u have tobe available to do when she wants, u know what i mean.

Ur such a sweet person heather and u deserve the best May 24, 2008 wedding day ever!! ♥
