My MOM put my wedding dress in the washing machine and it came out SOOOOOOO CLEAN it is a miracle. I thoguht it was ruinned forever until my mom and some woolite. We got the tip from our seamstress that did it to her daughters dress and swore by it. After it is washed you can put it into a SPACE BAG, and it will last forever. Save yourself a few hundred bucks. BTW: You can see from my wedding pics my dress had a lot of detail and nothing happened to it.
