I have been horribly (and unnecessarily lol) conflicted on which veil to wear. I keep buying veils and changing my mind. Now I have an assortment of veils and no final decision...I need to put this to rest! Help!
Side Note: My ceremony is at the RH, outdoors, in a smallish ceremony area. Is a cathedral veil, with the already huge cathedral train, overdoing it for a smallish outdoor ceremony??

For me, I think it is too much. I think you can lose the dress with the big veil, especially in a smaller ceremony area

JMO - I'm not a fan of the huge veil, however, I think that it looks absolutely GREAT with the dress. So if you love it, do it!
Edit: BTW your dress is gorg!!

Ive been so conflicted on veils too!! Is the only thing keeping you from wearing the cathedral the fact that you think you're overdoing it? If that's the only thing then I say who the hell cares haha. Wear what you love! I think Cathedral anything is too much for my taste but the pics you show look gorgeous and it's the only time you can wear something so extreme and long.

Cause the cathedral would be too much for the reception - you would have to carry it.

im wearing a very similar cathedral to the one you posted to my ceremony and then switching to a birdcage with feather and crystal fascinator for the reception. i couldnt decide either so i decided to use both veils its your one day you get to be all dressed up and wear a veil i say wear the cathedral to ceremony and switch to a short one for reception

IMO-I think it is a bit much. Your dressing stunning!! And I wouldnt over do it with a cathedral veil I think something more elbow length would be perfect

i LOVE the way it looks with the dress! wear the Cathderal Veil for the ceremony then switch to the shorter veil for the reception - trust me, you won't want to keep it on the whol enight (cathedral veil)

never in your life will you get to wear a cathedral veil again! the dress is very simple and elegant, so i def dont think the cathedral takes away from the dress

I'd say if you want the catherdal veil, go for it - just make sure the veil isn't as long as the aisle you will be walking down for the ceremony
