it is soo much cheaper to have a wedding in the so called winter monthes and at this moment i m considering it b/c i really need to find ways to save money. the thing that makes me mad is that i really want to do the 'votive candle place cards' but with candles in the shape of tulips (that is mine and Fh's flower) and for a favor i wanted to do the ice cream scooper b/c i love the saying that comes with it,,,but neither of these 'work' b/c they r more relatable to summer or spring not february or november, winter monthes...would it b stupid to use these items anyway b/c they mean something to me and FH??

I don't think it'd be stupid at all! Honestly, I don't think your guests would think twice about your choices, especially since the items are so special for you two. GO FOR IT!

I still think you can do the ice cream scooper and votives in the winter! I am having a late fall / winter wedding and I was thinking of doing both myself!
What is the saying for the ice cream scooper? I have never heard it before!

we choose november b/c it is off season, we choose our date nov 3, b/c it is our anniversary, less dates to remember this way. i didn't have my heart set on this date, if we couldn't get it we would have picked another. it worked out for the best, b/c our date is a friday and its just what we wanted. jmo, but you don't have to pick a date b/c it was your first date or kiss or something else , go with what you want.

I don't think it is stupid either...Why not get married in march...You still get the pricing for winter months...I am getting married March 31st..We get the winter pricing but you are 1 day away from April & the tulips! Tulips bloom the first or second week of April!

my fave saying goes with the ice cream scooper..u put hershey kisses in the scoop..and the saying says...'a scoop of kissess from the new Mr. and Mrs.'...when i told my mom the saying she LOVED it, thought i invented it LOL! wish i was that talented lol

I definitely think both can be done in the winter. The candles will make it look like a romantic winter night when you're all cuddled up with your DH. HA!!!!!
