so disappointed

I went to michaels today, the one on Northern blvd and they had nothing!!!!!!!!!!! I really expected to come out with a lot more. You could not find any of the two sales associates that work in the huge store and when you did manage to get a hold of them............ They knew absolutely nothing!!! nope no help at all. They seem to not have any of the simple things that I expect a craft store to have. A friend of mine told me to try AC moore because she never finds anything in Michaels.

i'm sorry you had a bad experience there!

honestly, i think AC Moore is much better and even better organized. all the michael's i've gone to has had a terrible selection of things. meanwhile each time i go to ac moore, i always find stuff!

I like Michael's but have also found it hard to get good help there. AC Moore is also an excellent store to get wedding craft supplies..AC Moore also has 50% or 40% coupons on there website. Michael's and AC Moore also honor each other's coupons and they both honor joann's fabric's coupons...

that particular michaels is not my favorite - i prefer the one in westbury on merchants concourse or the one on hempsead tpke in levittown. the ac moore in carle place on glen cove road is great too. but really all those really large craft stores are the same to me. they have some good generic stuff but if you are very particular about what you need theyre not always so helpful. for more specific stuff i usually buy online.

I'm soo sorry. I soooooooooo wanted you to get everything accomplished today . It's the same with the Michaels here in Oceanside. There staff is NOT up to par on customer service. As a matter of fact, half of the people in there, have NO IDEA of where anything is. So thats when I just say.......Nevermind, I'll figure it out myself!! Luckily, I know the store well enough to find what I need, this way I don'y need ANYONES help.

I hate that one two. Try the westbury one near the meadowbrook parkway. They always have a lot since many head over that way from the mall all the time.
